Stopping at the Buc-ee's in Amarillo is an absolute game-changer for the drive along I-40. If you are traveling with family or older relatives, this is hands down the best place to pull over, stretch your legs, and refuel. The first thing you notice is the massive scale, there are dozens of fueling stations, so you never have to wait for a pump, and the parking lot is expansive and easy to navigate. The entire facility is flat and completely wheelchair accessible, which makes walking inside smooth and stress-free. True to the brand, the restrooms are pristine, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The customer service is fast and friendly, even when the store is bustling with travelers. As for the food and shopping, it is unmatched. You can grab a hot, freshly chopped brisket sandwich from the Texas Round Up station, stock up on Beaver Nuggets. They also have an incredible selection of unique home decor, seasonal clothing, and Texas-themed gifts. It is so much more than a gas station, it is a full-scale roadside attraction that makes any long drive incredibly enjoyable. Don't skip it on your way through the Panhandle!

We love stopping at Buccees but goodness they need to work on the register line at the south end. Stopped there three times went out this exit because the least busy handicap parking and the line at the registers is awful. A dozen plus people in line each time. One side closed. Two people working and still not enough. Today at 11am in a Sunday they only had one person. Line was ridiculous. As two managers stood there next to it so worried about restocking the tshirts instead of helping cut the line down. Not great customer service at this one.

We pulled in with our 43 foot Motorhome pulling our Jeep to get diesel. Once we walked our dog and filled up motorhome with diesel we parked and there was plenty of parking and went inside to grab something to eat. Nice clean store and friendly and helpful staff. Even got a cute little red bucket!

Stopped by Buc-ee’s while traveling from New Mexico and this place was honestly amazing. The location was super clean, the food was great, and there were so many options to choose from. Everything felt well stocked and organized even though it was busy. Definitely one of the best road trip stops I’ve been to and well worth the stop while traveling through.

Buc ee’s is the coolest place on the planet. It’s actually against the law to pass by one and not stop. They have everything you didn’t know you needed until they showed you. From clothing to trinkets to tables and smokers (yes smokers) or lawn chairs (this is a gas station on steroids BTW) The Food!!! This is where it gets real. They have a pulled pork/brisket/smoked meat section where they make the sandwiches for you, in the middle of the building. Their fresh made jerky section is as long as a semi truck. Speaking of semi trucks, they’re not allowed, True Story. 100+ gas pumps and NO SEMI TRUCKS! They also have their own brand of just about every snack on the 🌎 The final frontier is their bathrooms which are the cleanest and coolest on the planet! You will see what I mean. Do NOT drive by, you will thank me later. And don’t forget to get your pic with Bucee
